Winter 2010
Happy New Year!
January, 2010....I keep telling myself the cold weather is a good thing. It kills parasites in the soil. It rejuvenates the ground for the Spring. It's a great time for sweaters and leather jackets......but I moved to Texas to avoid this!!!! I want my warm summers and air conditioning back!!!!
The show season is off to a great start. "Java" (Summit View Morning Ambition--co-owned with Norma and Mike Hennig) picked up a 4 point major at the Glen Rose shows. This was following a great outing at the GDCA National in Tennessee (she placed 4th in the Bred By class out of 27 bitches!)
2010 has also brought a new batch of puppies to Summit View. Java's mother, "Samantha" gave me 9 bouncing babies (3 brindle boys, 2 fawn boys, 3 fawn girls, and 1 brindle girl) on January 11th (right on target for her due date.) I'm looking forward to the puppies growing up and seeing who's going to be the next "big winner."
And of course, our division with GDCA is well on our way to hosting the National Specialty this year in Pine Bluff, Arkansas! I'm hoping to see all the "long time" friends there, as well as meet a bunch of new ones along the way! I hope you're planning on being there in October 2010!

Established in 1976, Summit View Farm has emerged from a dream to a full realization of the professional sport of showing dogs. Enjoy the following pages and the dogs that I have bred, shown, or trained.....and realize all that is Summit View!
Special thanks must go to everyone that has supported my dream and passion.....the clients that have trusted their dogs into my care; the new owners that have taken on the responsibility of animals I have bred; and the many friends I have developed over the years of dedication to be able to offer something special.
My farm name is Summit View....
